Our Lord’s House: Any help after today’s 11.00 am to erect the crib would be greatly appreciated. We do not want the Holy Family to arrive on Wednesday night with no house to live in!
Carol Singing: Monday at Tesco’s Sowerby Bridge from 5pm until 6pm and 6pm until 7pm. Please come along for one hour with our fellow Christians as a witness ‘to the light.’ Instruments welcomed.
Readers and Ministers of Holy Communion: Please sign up on the list in the porch for the three Christmas Masses otherwise the priest will be rushing around before Mass looking for recruits (like last year).
Christmas Flowers: They are expensive and so if anyone would like to make a contribution it would be appreciated - what about a collecting basket in front of the crib?
Altar Servers: Over the last three months the serving rota has been largely ignored and some Masses especially the 6.30pm have had no one. Parents please can you ensure your daughter and sons turn up (along with you!). We have 17 servers!
Father Firth and David Deacon would like to thank you for all the lovely cards and gifts you have given them.
Income: Last week we received £676.42p (envelopes £525.31p, loose £151.11). After Fr Firth’s brief talk about money, the collection dropped by £95! Is it the credit squeeze?
We made a loss on the Catholic papers of £5.20p. They are now £1.20p (what a moaning priest you have!).
The Christmas collection is your gift to the priest. Thank you.
Dirty Albs: Is there anyone willing to wash the altar servers albs and return them before Christmas Eve?
