STRAWBERRY FAYRE:
Today (Sunday) from 12 noon onwards in the Parish Hall and (weather permitting) outside. £2.50. We have sold 60 tickets.
Foundations in Faith:
A Course of Catholic Faith Formation. It begins in September at Hinsley Hall, Leeds. Tuesday evenings
at 7:15pm to 9:30pm and lasts for two years. A certificate in Religious Studies is given. See the notice board or Fr. Firth.
CHILDREN’S LITURGEY GROUP:
Is there anyone who has not yet received their C.R.B. check so we can begin a rota for the separate children’s liturgy in September? Please see Fr. Firth or Mrs. Natalia Morrell.

Parish Council. Welcome the new vicar of Sowerby Bridge Canon Angela Dick.
Wednesday: 8:00pm Ladies Group gathering in the Hall.
Thursday: 10:15am Our School Leavers Mass in Church.

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES:
Please collect your envelopes. If you would like some, we have spare boxes. Do you pay income tax? If so, if you have not signed a gift aid form please ask Fr. Firth for one or print one from the website.
Calderdale Royal Hospital:
The hospital have devised new registration forms for patients which no longer includes any reference to a person’s religion. This means that Fr. Nealon, the Catholic Chaplain has NO MEANS of knowing who are Catholics any longer. Please take a yellow form we have devised and insist you, or whoever it is going into hospital is seen by the Catholic Priest – otherwise the whole system will be unworkable! Secularism is trying to marginalise religion in the public sector.
